Why we play theatre

Published by miriam on 14 Jan 2013

The theatre is inspired by historical Marionettes theatres, the task of which was to educate children and teach them in a discreet form to listen to classical music – for this purpose they had Marionettes theatres at aristocrat residences.
And thus even in the 18th century they could prepare their children through a light genre for the opera world.
Also our aim is to get children acquainted with period music which they cannot normally hear on radio or television.
Combining music with pictures – everything in Renaissance style – we want to ensure that in the future children can match this music and costumes to the given period.
